Nah, one or at most two more episodes and this will be forgotten as he never returns to this area. After those episodes he finally leaves this starting village and story begins. This pretty much marks real start of arc 1.

Don't know if this will be shown here, but in novel he was satisfied how he provided safe environment for his family and friends, so he could leave. Chendi pavilion is kind of one of rare plot holes, he builds it everywhere, but never really puts it to any use other than moving his friends to better safe environment

So in the end IT still come down to strength.
